Accessibility

Last updated: 29 April 2026

Eye Surgeons Miranda is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including patients with a range of vision, motor and cognitive needs. As an ophthalmology practice, accessibility for people with low vision is a particular priority.

Standard we aim to meet

This website aims to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the recognised international standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard adopted by the Australian Government for its own websites and is widely accepted as the benchmark for accessible web content.

What we have done

Known limitations

Some content on this website may not yet meet every WCAG 2.1 AA criterion. Where we identify a limitation, we work to correct it in subsequent updates. Older embedded content (such as some external maps and third-party content) may behave less predictably with assistive technology than the rest of the site.
